University of San Francisco School of Law, Juris Doctor (2013)

University of California Davis, Davis, Bachelor of Arts with Highest Honors-Political Science, History, Russian (2007)

Robert Hester was admitted to practice law in 2014 after passing the California Bar Examination on his first attempt. His experiences and career goals-serving personal injury victims and victims of unlawful employment practices-led him to the Law Offices of Tanya Gomerman.

Mr. Hester entered the legal profession in 2007, working as a toxic tort and products liability paralegal at Brayton Purcell, LLP. As a paralegal, Mr. Hester learned how rewarding it is to serve personal injury victims and their families in all phases of a legal matter, from the initial consultation through litigation and trial. To better serve them, he entered law school in 2010.

During law school, Robert Hester received a Pro Bono Publico award for his volunteer work with the Asian Law Caucus, OneJustice, and San Francisco District Attorney’s office. He also worked as a certified law clerk for Fredrickson Mazeika and Grant LLP handling insurance matters in personal injury litigation.

In 2011, Mr. Hester developed a strong interest in employment discrimination and wage and hour law. To gain experience in these matters, he interned at the Law Offices of Arthur Chambers and provided pro bono services to employees, contractors, and mariners through the University of San Francisco School of Law Employment Law Clinic.
