A Great Way to Start the Year

Bringing the GOBO team together in person was a meaningful and energizing way to celebrate the beginning of 2026. As a firm built on collaboration, empathy, and connection, it was incredibly special to gather face-to-face after a busy year of working closely together across our offices and teams. While we truly missed those who were unable to join us, they were very much thought of during the weekend.
The celebration began on Friday with a team lunch and was followed by a festive White Elephant gift exchange that brought plenty of laughter and lighthearted competition.
We were also treated to a homemade Neapolitan cake made by Anna—a thoughtful and delicious touch that perfectly captured the care and creativity that define our team.
On Saturday, the GOBO crew explored some of San Francisco’s most iconic sights, beginning with Pier 39. From walking the piano steps and browsing local gift shops to spending time watching the sea lions along the waterfront, the day was filled with shared moments and genuine connection. Traveling through the city by trolley car added a sense of adventure and made the experience even more memorable.
The weekend concluded with an unforgettable Golden State Warriors game, enjoyed together from a private suite. With great food, drinks, lots of laughter, and an electric atmosphere, the night was made even better by a Warriors victory. It was the perfect way to cap off a weekend centered around team spirit, appreciation, and fun.

At GOBO, our people are what make the firm what it is, and this gathering was a wonderful reminder of the strong culture we continue to build together. We’re already looking forward to our next in-person event and creating even more shared memories as a team.
