Major Car Crashes Surge Last Week

The City of San Francisco announced a plan to eliminate traffic deaths by 2024 completely. This seems like a bold move considering that the next day, there were multiple fatal crashes in Forest Hill, Pacific Heights, the Tenderloin, and Excelsior.

The weekend collisions were blamed for two deaths and two serious injuries, including a 96-year-old West Portal woman who was injured by a car while crossing the street. While the city is dedicated to the reshaping the public’s view of traffic safety, injuries and deaths are still occurring in record numbers. It is essential that every San Francisco resident inform themselves of what to do in case they find themselves injured in a car accident.

What to Do When Injured in a San Francisco Car Accident

If you were injured in a recent accident in San Francisco, you might feel a bit lost on what to do next. You likely still are dealing with the pain and shock that can come after the initial fear has subsided. The most important thing for you to do is speak with a San Francisco personal injury attorney as soon as possible. That way, they can take care of the legal aspects of your case, and you can focus on healing. You only have a certain amount of time to bring your injury claim. Make sure to contact an attorney right away to ensure you can meet the time frame required by law.
